History
This Club known as the "OWLS" (One Wing Low Squadron) became an A.M.A. Chartered Club in March 1990. Our Charter # 2811 is a relativity low number . A third of the original members are still flying here! That says a lot about the kind of people here and in RC in general. Though a lot has changed, the dedication , enthusiasm for flying, and fellowship has not.
With 25 acres of open rural country-side you can really enjoy your flying. We are a premiere sailplane flying site in North Central Florida. We have a well maintained multi-directional grass runway that is always easy to take off and land on. Power, Electric, or sailplane - pilots really enjoy the wide open space that is available here.
If you're looking for a club with a down-home atmosphere, then we're the club for you!
